Recess Enhancement

Provide a safe, structured environment that promotes teamwork, good sportsmanship, social responsibility and fun. Achieved through individual class time (FPT) to promote said skills and learn active games.

Leadership Program

Assistant coaches and referee program (train representatives of top two grades in the school to lead/support recess. It also incorporates a Learning to Work program for area High School students.

Additional Offerings

Field Day Activities

ITAVYS can host your school's field day for students in grades 3K-12. Activities include age appropriate activities like tag, relay races, sports, etc. Rates based on school/organization budget.

Party Activities

ITAVYS can host a sports and fitness activity at your next birthday party. Large outdoor or indoor space required. Minimum of 20 children ages 4-13. Hourly rates available on the website.

  • Weekly BPL (Brooklyn Public Library) trips for improved focus

  • Weekly club days, activities your child chooses to expand on interests (dance, art, sports, chess, performance arts)

  • Weekly trips to Prospect Park Zoo, Brooklyn Musuem, Brooklyn Children Museum, Dave and Busters, Urban Air, bowling, and a beach day (Riis Beach).

  • Price: $450 per week • Extended Day $500 per week

    3- 7 week sessions available • 10% sibling discount

    3 weeks: $1,350 • ED $1,500

  • Schedule

    • 8:00am: Extended day campers report to gym or cafeteria for DoE breakfast/ bring your own breakfast.

    • 9:00am: All campers in gym for daily announcements and morning rally.

      Outdoor activities

    • 9:30-11:00am: Campers separate with their groups for activity.

    • 11:00am-12:30pm: Campers rotate to different activity. Snack break.

    • 12:30- 1:00pm: Bring your own lunch/DoE lunch in cafeteria.

      Indoor activities moving forward including library trips.

    • 1:00-2:30pm: Indoor activities

      2:30-4:00pm: Indoor activities. Snack break

    • 4:00pm: Dismissal. Extended day in indoor cool down activities.

    • 5:00pm: End of day.

    Outdoor Activities:

    • Active group games (Tag, movement games)

    • Ultimate sports (Basketball, football, soccer, frisbee)

    • Scavenger Hunts

    Indoor activities:
    Art, game room, library trips, dance

    Protocols:

    • Camper drop off at security desk.

    • Camper pick up: Campers are brought to security deck when notified.

    • Early pick up, call 30 mins prior.

    Schedule is subject to change based on outdoor weather.

    Trip days are Tuesday–Thursday
    Nurse is on site, group leaders/instructors CPR-certified.
